We were instructed to play a game developed by a Netherlands-based organization called GETBADNEWS. This game aims to avoid misinformation or making fake news. They used the concept of reverse Psychology since in the game ,the player has the role of a fake-news writer. The games was fun and interesting and also different as compared to other video games. One only thing that i didn’t like was , a lot of texts was written and one should read it all in order to understand the whole game. I got 10.935 followers at the end of the game and i completed the badges which, kind of make me feel like i am a professional fake-news writer.
The badges signify the abilities that you need to have, in order for you to be a fake-news writer. In the game, one of the techniques that the writer has is, through using the social Media. An example of this is using Twitter to post something that is fake and really looks like a real fact when you read it. Our society had been greatly influenced by media because it is the mode of communication nowadays. but, one thing that is disadvantageous to this is, in one just click away, you could share or repost something that has false information.
Through playing GETBADNEWS, people who really loves to make fake news will be guided and will make them realize that misinformation may lead to bad effects. Other people who have been a victim of fake news would prevent themselves from getting into it. There are other ways to prevent receiving fake news: First, know your sources. Second, know the author. Third, search for other references to avoid misinformation.
In conclusion, the games was fun and informative as well. Do not attempt to share fake news because it is disadvantageous and could lead to bad effects.
Our group created a video to spread facts about Media-information literacy. All of us contributed in editing the video, adding content and placing references. If one would ask me if i enjoyed doing this activity, i would say yes. One thing that kept me interested in doing this activity is we get to edit a video by just using our own creative ideas. We used our own pictures and we used a template(theme) found in Powtoon that would best fit the topic. But, the difficulty that we encountered in making this video is that ,we should make it entertaining and informative so that the readers would not get bored. Despite the difficulty, i think that the facts that we placed in the video are precise and informative. One factor that contributed in the video is the template from Powtoon that would make us look like we are a professional video-editor. If i will have chance to make some changes, i would change the quality of pictures that we used and better ideas that would make the video more entertaining and fun to watch.

CYBERBULLYING is not just a simple issue in our world today. This problem will not only cause minimal effects but it could change the lives of many children or teenagers. Cyberbullying is done when someone uses technology (digital phones, computer, tablets, messenger) to draw fear and humiliation to another person. This could affect one’s personality, confidence, and even dignity. Each of us has the freedom to live the life that we want and no one has the right to judge it. Perfection doesn’t exist because of the fact that every person experiences failures and victories in their lives. Right now let us make a change, and let everyone know that IN EVERY WEAKNESS, THERE IS GREATNESS. Don’t let others pull you down and don’t pull others down. Bullying others would not make you look tough and impressive, but it will just make you look rude and trying to find attention from others. Let each person know that they are worth it and they have the purpose in this world. CYBERBULLYING, LET’S END THIS NOW!

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
